Swindon Borough Council supports the use of PASS-accredited proof of age cards as a form of valid ID for the purposes of proving age.
CitizenCard (sample pictured, right) is a widely-recognised national proof of age card scheme. The applicant's name, photo and date of birth are all clearly displayed on the front of the card.
Who Can Apply
The card is available in four age brackets:
Age-restricted Products and Services
Supplying any of the products listed below to someone who is below the age stated is a criminal offence that can lead to a trader (or a member of their staff) being prosecuted.
They may even lose their business.
