Tobacco Control Visioning Forum

The Smokefree Swindon Partnership held a Tobacco Control Visioning Forum on 30 April. The event was well attended and the following areas were identified as priority issues:

  • Children and young people
  • Health inequalities caused by smoking
  • Smoking in pregnancy
  • Promotion and access to the NHS Stop Smoking Service
  • Illicit and counterfeit Sales
  • Media advocacy

All those who attended will receive a summary of the actions discussed at the event and an action plan will be devised to co-ordinate tobacco control in Swindon.
